Huawei launches Mate X in China, shipments begin on November 15

Huawei is having an eventful day - the company launched the 5G-enabled Mate 30 lineup, celebrated 200 million sales globally, and now has finally started the sales of its first foldable phone - the Mate X. The smartphone is already listed at Vmall, Huawei's official online store, for the CNY16,999 (that's about $2,400 or €2,150). The Huawei Mate X arrives with Kirin 980 chipset, as initially announced - rumors that the company was going to upgrade it to the Kirin 990 turned out false. At least it will ship with an integrated Balong 5000 modem for 5G speeds. Other specs...
